This warm, humid region is home to lush tropical islands, vibrant marine life, and towering rock formations, making it one of the most breathtaking areas in the world of Verra. However, don’t be fooled by its beauty. Beneath the waves and within the tropics’ shadows lie corruption, formidable creatures, and ancient secrets waiting to be discovered. Prepare yourselves for adventure in this vibrant and perilous paradise! 

Beautiful Atmosphere & Dangerous Creatures 

The Turquoise Sea is a region of stunning natural beauty, defined by crystal-clear waters, palm-covered islands, and lush tropical vegetation. Testers exploring this area will experience dynamic weather changes that actively shape the environment, creating a deeply immersive and ever-changing world.

Beneath its serene surface, a primordial force stirs. A nearby Emberscar releases mystical energy into the sea, altering the environment and corrupting local wildlife. Once-harmonious creatures have become aggressive and unpredictable under its influence.

Home to a rich variety of life, this land has some of Verra’s most formidable foes. The Sladeborne (a hostile avian race) dwell here and revere a monstrous sea beast that rules the waters. Pirates, bandits, and wild creatures also roam the coastlines, making every journey through the Turquoise Sea a riveting test of courage and skill.

Naval Exploration and PvP Warfare

With the addition of the Turquoise Sea, we’re thrilled to introduce our naval system to Ashes of Creation! Gather your crew and set sail into a world of high-stakes adventure, where exploration and naval combat go hand-in-hand. Testers can now navigate the open waters, uncover hidden lands, and seek out ancient treasures. Remember to stay vigilant - the Verran seas are unpredictable, and danger may come not only from fearsome NPCs, but also from other adventurers with their own ambitions!

A hotspot for open-world PvP, the Turquoise Sea offers endless opportunities for guilds to compete over prime farming locations, key trade routes, and elusive secret locations. Whether engaging in ship-to-ship battles, challenging powerful foes, or exploring mysterious islands for treasure, success in this untamed region will require strategy, teamwork, and courage. 

Pocket Dungeons

The Turquoise Sea is teeming with pocket dungeons, each offering unique challenges, hidden lore, and of course, valuable rewards. These locations are scattered across the region, providing rich opportunities for exploration and high-risk, high-reward encounters. 

Some notable dungeons in this area include: 

• Multrok’s Fall - A remote island where the Sladeborne seek to reclaim long-lost knowledge.
• The Brig - A forsaken pirate prison, twisted by dark rituals. 
• Ruins of Sholfire - A once-experimental lighthouse that holds a volatile fire elemental prisoner. 
• Farfathom Caves - A cavernous hall filled with hidden treasures, protected by living geodes and enchanted guardians. 
• Pyrespire Vent - An active lava hotspot, crawling with dangerous fiery elementals.
• Isle of Bones - A solemn, eerie site where sea giants commune with their ancestors.
• Subalfire Lighthouse - The still-operational sister lighthouse to the Ruins of Sholfire, overrun by mischievous chaos-loving goblins. 

Each of these dungeons presents a chance for testers to face formidable enemies, uncover ancient secrets, and walk away with coveted loot if they can survive the encounter.
