- Why Early Access?
- Ashes of Creation is designed as a reactive world, one that evolves based on player activity. That makes community testing a core part of our development philosophy. Early Access allows us to bring testers directly into Verra during key stages of system building - whether that’s settlement progression, economy loops, combat balance, or world events. By engaging with the community early, we gather critical feedback, identify issues faster, and refine systems in real time. Every session, bug report, and piece of feedback helps shape how each server’s unique story unfolds.

- How long will Early Access last?
- Early Access begins on December 11, 2025, and will continue until the game reaches the level of quality, stability, and content breadth we expect for launch. There is no fixed end date. The roadmap ahead includes progressing from Alpha Two into Beta One, then Beta Two, and eventually a full release once we feel Ashes of Creation delivers the experience our community deserves. The world is vast and the systems are ambitious, so Early Access will naturally evolve as we build toward that final vision.

- How will the full version differ from Early Access?
- The Early Access version focuses on establishing and testing the foundational systems that define Ashes of Creation - dynamic Settlements, the player-driven economy, crafting and resource systems, combat and archetypes, open-world PvP and PvE encounters, sieges, guild and social systems, and more. As development progresses, we plan to expand these systems with additional content, polish, performance enhancements, and world events to ensure the world feels rich and alive. The full version will reflect a more complete, refined, and optimized Verra built on years of iteration and community testing.

- What is the current state of the Early Access version?
- Ashes of Creation is currently in active alpha testing, meaning many systems are still in flux and subject to change. Testers should expect unstable builds, incomplete content, placeholder elements, and regular balance adjustments. Realm wipes will occur when necessary to support testing and data collection. The Early Access environment is intentionally raw and built for iteration. It is a testing experience rather than a polished game. Participation during this stage is invaluable as we identify issues, assess performance, gather feedback, and strengthen the game’s foundation for future betas.
