Greetings glorious Ashes of Creation community! We are excited to provide you all with a guide to Alpha Two. In this article, you will learn about the testing schedule, the available content for testing, and much more!

This test will not have an NDA, meaning players are allowed to stream and share their gameplay. We strongly encourage you all to provide as much feedback as possible, so our team can continue to iterate on vital components of the game. If you do not have Alpha Two access, take a look at our shop for the various bundles that you can purchase, and keep an eye on our social media channels for giveaways!

Alpha Two Access - Important Dates

Depending on when and how you gained access to Alpha Two, you will join us at various time frames.

• October 25, 2024 - For players who attained Alpha Two access via a giveaway, or Kickstarter Pack, Kickstarter Addon, Pre-order Pack, and Pre-order Addon.
• November 8, 2024 - If you purchased a First Wave Bundle.
• December 20, 2024 - If you purchased a Second Wave Bundle.
• May 1, 2025 - If you purchased a Third Wave Bundle.

Overview

During Alpha Two, we will test a wide variety of content and features. On October 25, players can expect to participate in and test the below content:

• Nodes
• Open World PvP
• PvE Including Questing, Dungeons, and Raids
• World Bosses
• POIs (Points of Interest)
• Mounts
• Gathering
• Processing
• Crafting
• Caravans
• And much more!

Alpha Two Map

This map shows the initial area that players can explore and adventure in for the start of Alpha Two. We will add more POIs and biomes as we progress through the testing period.

POIs

During Alpha Two, Verra will contain a wide variety of interesting POIs that include areas such as:

• Lionhold - The starting/tutorial area
• Various Nodes such as Winstead, Miraleth, and more
• The Citadel of Steel Bloom - an area that hosts the Firebrand raid

Alpha Two Archetypes & Skills

Upon the launch of Alpha Two, the game will consist of six out of the eight archetypes including Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Mage, Ranger, and Tank. Rogue and Summoner will be added in future Alpha Two testing phases. You can check out the primary abilities of each archetype kit below.

Alpha Two Weapon Skill Trees

Independent from your archetype selection, players will be able to level up and improve their weapons through skill trees! Select your weapon of choice and level it up to increase its power and efficiency during combat!

We are extremely thankful to our glorious community for the continued support and can’t wait to see you on Verra soon. Please keep in mind that this is still an Alpha, so there will be many bugs, and some rough edges. Our glorious developers will continue to work hard to consistently make improvements, fix bugs, and add more content for testing in the coming months. As those updates are ready, we’ll provide more information on what you can expect from them.

With that in mind, our goal is to gather a lot of data and feedback during our Alpha Two testing phase in order to continue to improve Ashes of Creation. We would love for you to participate in our Forums, providing your thoughts and reporting any issues you encounter. We are excited to watch as you explore Verra, read all the valuable feedback you leave for us, and squash bugs with each new update!
