Bracers of Brotherhood

Accessory Cosmetic Skin *

These bracers cannot be crafted to the Dünir that wears them – they must earn them. To wear the famed tankard-cut fire opal is to be embraced by a crew that calls you family. It represents many long hours mining the depths, and just as many hours smackin’ foes alongside the brigade. Every dent, scratch, and stain is fondly recalled and worn as a badge of honor.

Rock Hawk

Pet Cosmetic Skin *

Smart, resilient, and fiercely loyal, the Rock Hawk is a highly sought-after companion for Dünir scouts and rangers. These fearless birds of prey are trained from birth to serve as observers and message carriers. Domesticated Rock Hawks will not lay eggs in coops, so they must be released to lay eggs in the wild and stoney terrain of the northwest mountains. Successfully finding and recovering these eggs is a cause for Dünir ranger celebration.

Boulderstone Bulldog

The Boulderstone Bulldog is a large breed of horned canines native to the mountains and plateaus of the old Düzenkell Empire. They are as thick, stocky, and stubborn as the kind of dwarves you’d expect they’d make a suitable mount for. This union is a good one, as the dwarf and bulldog become inseparable once a bond is formed. We’ve even heard a story of the Smashed Thumb Brigade mounting a charge on Boulderstone Bulldogs and turning the tide against a war party of minotaurs!

It began with a company of irascible dwarven miners, a misplaced hammer strike, and a disorderly brawl. It ended with reconciliations, revelry, and the reckless imbibing of pints at the local tavern. Thus, the Smashed Thumb Brigade was born. This group of fun-loving miners is bound by comradery and unwavering loyalty. They are a raucous fraternity, and occasional militia, that works together and watches each other’s backs. When necessary, they give their lives for each other. The Brigade loves nothing more than a hard day’s work, followed by a tavern celebration with ale, song, and lovely lasses. If they get interrupted by an unanticipated call to arms, the assurance that they will be well-equipped enough to split the skulls of hungry beasts or hostile brigands without hesitation!

The Rabble Rumbler

The promise of a rich but remote vein of ore, or a militia skirmish in the mountainous highlands, can put a lot of distance between a dwarf and his favorite watering hole. The Smashed Thumb Brigade solved this problem by inventing the Rabble Rumbler! With this wheeled tavern-on-the-go, the party is never far away. Felled foes and carts overflowing with ore are celebrated boisterously and equally within the walls of this roaming roadhouse!
